1. General provisions
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you (the “User”) and the owner of the app, and govern your use of the Voice Finance mobile app for iOS and the official website voicefinance.app (together, the “Service”).
These Terms are supplemented by the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of them.
The official website uses technical and statistical web analytics needed to operate it, measure its traffic and improve it: Cloudflare Web Analytics and Yandex Metrica, including Session Replay and the click and scroll maps. What is collected, which cookies are used and how to opt out are described in the Privacy Policy — section 12 “The official website and web analytics” and subsection 12.1 “Cookies and local storage”.
2. Owner, developer and service provider
The owner, developer and provider of the Service is Individual Entrepreneur Kirill Mikhailovich Paramonov (the “Developer”).
Address: 3 Prospekt Mira, Apt. 44, Krasnoznamensk, Moscow Oblast, 143090, Russian Federation. INN: 500604796798. OGRNIP: 322508100269063. Full registration details are in section 37.
3. Acceptance of the Terms
By downloading, installing or using the app, or by using the website, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the Service.
If you use the app on behalf of another person or an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
4. What Voice Finance is for
Voice Finance is an app for personal tracking of income and expenses. It lets you add transactions by voice or manually, keep them on your device, sync them through your personal iCloud, review your history and see clear analytics based on your own data.
You enter all information yourself. The app does not connect to bank accounts, does not import statements and does not receive your transaction data from external sources.
5. Right of use and licence
The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store rules.
The licence does not transfer any exclusive rights in the app to you. All rights not expressly granted by these Terms remain with the Developer.
6. Permitted use
You may use the app for personal expense tracking: create and edit your own records, configure categories and budgets, use analytics and sync, and contact support.
7. Prohibited actions
When using the Service, you must not:
- decompile, disassemble or modify the app, or attempt to derive its source code, except where expressly permitted by law;
- circumvent technical restrictions or subscription checks, or otherwise obtain access to paid features outside the established process;
- copy, distribute, rent, resell or otherwise make the app available to third parties as a standalone product;
- use the Service for unlawful activity or in a way that infringes the rights of others;
- take actions intended to disrupt the Service or the infrastructure hosting it.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its source code, interface, design, graphics, texts, and the Voice Finance name and logo belong to the Developer and are protected by intellectual-property law.
The financial records you create in the app belong to you. The Developer claims no rights in your content and has no access to it.
9. Your responsibility for the information you enter
You enter all information into the app yourself and are responsible for its completeness and accuracy. The app displays and analyses exactly the data you have entered or confirmed.
9.1. Suggesting ideas and sending feedback
The app's settings contain a “Suggest an idea” item. Through it you send the Developer, on your own initiative, a message and — if you choose to — up to three images. In this section that message together with any attached images is referred to as a Submission. What is transmitted, and what is not stored, is described in section 11.1 of the Privacy Policy.
9.1.1. Rights in a Submission
By sending a Submission you grant the Developer a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it: to reproduce it, to adapt it, and to use the ideas and solutions it contains in developing, changing and promoting Voice Finance and the Developer's other products. The licence is granted worldwide and for the full term of the applicable rights.
The licence is free of charge: no fee, royalty, revenue share or other payment is due for a Submission or for its use. You will not be credited as the author when a Submission is used, unless separately agreed in writing.
Ideas, concepts, methods and principles are not, in themselves, protected by copyright. If a feature matching your Submission in whole or in part is implemented in the app, that gives you no rights in that feature, in the app or in any part of it, and is no basis for any claim against the Developer.
Sending a Submission creates no employment, authorship, contracting, partnership or other contractual relationship between you and the Developer beyond what these Terms describe, and creates no obligation to enter into any agreement.
Similar or identical solutions may be developed by the Developer independently, or obtained from other sources, including before your Submission arrives. Such circumstances are unrelated to your Submission and create no obligation towards you.
9.1.2. What must not be sent
By sending a Submission you confirm that you hold all rights needed to send it and to grant the licence in section 9.1.1. A Submission must not contain:
- personal data of other people — including their images, names, contact details, payment or medical information — without a legal basis under applicable data protection law;
- information protected as a secret by law: commercial, banking, medical or tax secrets, or information obtained in breach of a duty of confidence;
- third-party intellectual property, including images, text, trade marks and fragments of software, where you do not hold the rights to send it;
- material whose distribution is prohibited or restricted by applicable law, or material containing threats, abuse, defamation, incitement to violence or discrimination;
- malicious code, or material intended to disrupt the app, the website or third-party services;
- your own passwords, access codes, card details or anything else that would allow your funds to be used. The Developer never asks for these.
You are solely and fully responsible for the content of a Submission and for respecting the rights of others when sending it. If a third party or an authority brings a claim against the Developer arising from the content you sent, you undertake to reimburse the Developer for documented losses caused by your breach of this section, to the extent applicable law permits.
9.1.3. The Developer undertakes nothing
The Developer is under no obligation to review a Submission, to reply to it, to report any decision, to implement the described feature in whole or in part, to meet any deadline, or to keep a Submission or preserve it. A Submission may be left unread or deleted at any time, without notice and without explanation.
“Suggest an idea” is not a support channel. It is not intended for enquiries that need an answer, for fault reports that need a response, or for complaints, claims and demands for which law or these Terms prescribe a particular procedure. Send those to the support address in section 37, where the periods set by applicable law apply.
The ability to send a Submission is provided “as is”. The Developer does not guarantee that it will work without interruption and may change, restrict or discontinue it without prior notice. Silence does not mean agreement with what a Submission says.
This section does not limit consumer rights under applicable law, nor does it displace any statutory procedure for handling consumer enquiries (section 31).
9.1.4. Delivery through Telegram
A Submission is delivered through the Telegram messenger — a service operated by a third party and outside the Developer's control. By sending a Submission you consent to that transfer.
Processing on Telegram's side is governed by that service's own documents: its terms of service and privacy policy. The Developer is not responsible for Telegram's availability, for delivery times, for loss or corruption of a message on that service's side, or for its acts and omissions.
The Developer cannot guarantee that a Submission will arrive. Sending is not confirmation of receipt: a success message in the app means only that the request was accepted for delivery.
Do not use “Suggest an idea” for anything you are not prepared to hand over free of charge and without conditions: confidential information, business proposals, protected work, or anything in which you intend to keep exclusive rights. For those, use the support address and agree terms separately before sending any material.
10. Voice input and speech-recognition limitations
Speech recognition is performed by Apple's system component, Apple Speech. Recognition accuracy depends on the device, the language, pronunciation, speaking pace, background noise and the availability of the offline mode, and cannot be guaranteed.
Voice input is a convenience feature. Manual entry and editing are always available, including where microphone or speech-recognition permissions have not been granted.
11. Limitations of text parsing (Parser)
The app parses recognized or typed text locally and proposes the transaction type, amount, currency, date, title and category. This is an automated interpretation of text: it may get a field wrong, particularly with unusual, ambiguous or complex wording.
The parsed result is always presented to you for review before the transaction is saved.
12. Your duty to check the result
Before saving a transaction you must check:
- the amount;
- the transaction type (income or expense);
- the date;
- the currency;
- the category;
- the transaction title and, where applicable, the account or source;
- the correctness of the recognized text as a whole.
By saving a transaction you confirm that its contents are correct. All subsequent calculations, balances and analytics are built on the data you have confirmed.
13. The app's financial model
The app works with the transactions you enter and calculates derived figures: the balance for a period, income and expense totals, category breakdowns, spending pace, forecasts and guides. Calculations run locally, following deterministic rules, on your own data.
The app does not account for anything you have not entered: account balances, liabilities, loans, taxes, fees or transactions made outside the app.
14. The “Available to spend today” figure
“Available to spend today” is a supplementary daily guide. It is calculated from the data you have entered for the selected period and changes together with it, including after you add transactions made today.
This figure is not a limit, a permission, a recommendation or a commitment. It does not account for upcoming payments or circumstances not reflected in the app, and must not be treated as advice on how much you may spend.
15. Informational nature of calculations and analytics
All analytics, statistics, conclusions, forecasts and observations are provided for information and reference only. They do not constitute financial, tax, accounting, legal or investment advice.
Exchange rates come from external sources, are provided for reference, and may differ from the rates applied by your bank or payment provider.
16. What the app is not
Voice Finance is not, and does not replace:
- a bank or any other credit institution;
- a payment system or money-transfer service;
- an accounting or tax-accounting system;
- a tax adviser;
- an investment adviser;
- a financial adviser or consultant.
The app does not open accounts, does not hold funds, does not process payments or transfers, and has no access to your bank accounts.
17. No guaranteed financial outcome
The Developer does not guarantee any financial outcome, savings, reduction in spending or improvement in your financial position as a result of using the app.
18. Responsibility for financial decisions
Decisions about spending, saving, payments and any other financial actions are yours alone. Before making significant decisions, we recommend verifying the information against primary sources — bank statements and documents — and consulting a qualified professional where appropriate.
19. Local storage, iCloud and backups
App data is stored on your device and, when sync is enabled, in the private database of your personal iCloud account. iCloud is operated by Apple and depends on your account, settings and available storage.
The Developer keeps no copy of your data and cannot restore it. Creating and verifying device backups is your responsibility.
20. Risk of data loss
Data may be lost, in particular when the app is deleted, when iCloud is turned off or fails, when iCloud storage runs out, when your Apple account changes or is lost, when the device fails or is lost or damaged, and when you delete data yourself — including through the delete-all-data function.
Deleting data in the app is irreversible: the Developer cannot restore it.
22. AI Summary
What it is. The AI Summary produces a written description of your finances for the selected period using a third-party language model (OpenAI). The request is not sent directly: it passes through a Voice Finance server function.
Access condition. The feature is part of Premium and requires an active subscription. Without one it is unavailable and no data is transmitted.
Consent. Separate consent is required before the first send. It is requested in the app and is never granted by default; without it no request is made. Consent can be withdrawn at any time in Settings → AI usage. After withdrawal the feature becomes unavailable while all other analytics keep working.
What data is used. When generating an AI summary, the app sends the user-selected aggregated financial metrics to the external AI service OpenAI. This transfer takes place only after the user gives separate consent and is used solely to generate the response. Raw audio recordings, banking details, and account data are not sent. The full list of what is and is not transmitted is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Informational only. The result is for reference only and is not financial, tax, legal or investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer of any product or service. Decisions remain yours and are made at your own risk.
Possible errors. The text is generated by a language model and may contain inaccuracies, wrong conclusions or statements that do not match your data. The Developer does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or fitness of the result for any particular purpose and recommends checking its conclusions against the app's own figures.
No actions taken. The feature only produces text. It does not change your operations, categories, limits or budgets, makes no payments and does not manage your subscription.
Availability. The feature depends on a third-party provider and may be temporarily unavailable, limited in the number of requests per period, changed or discontinued. Such limitations are not a defect of the app and do not by themselves create a right to a refund; mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
23. Advertising in the free version
The free version includes a limited number of transaction recognitions. Once the allowance is spent, the app offers a rewarded video: watching it in full unlocks the next batch of recognitions.
A reward is granted only for an ad watched to the end. If you close the ad early, if it fails to load, or if an error occurs while showing it, no reward is granted and no recognition is performed. This is not a refusal of service: you may try again, take out a Premium subscription, or carry on using the rest of the app.
Advertising is supplied by the Yandex Advertising Network. We do not choose individual ads, do not review their content, and are not responsible for advertisers' goods and services or for the content of the sites those ads lead to. Advertising is not personalized: the app does not use the device advertising identifier and takes no part in tracking across apps or websites. How data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy.
A Premium subscription removes advertising and lifts the recognition limit. The size of the reward, the number of free recognitions and the conditions under which ads are shown may change; changes take effect with an app update or with a change of the advertising network's settings.
24. Refunds
All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its own policies; you can submit a request through Apple's “Report a Problem” page or Apple Support.
The Developer does not receive payments directly and is technically unable to issue a refund. Your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected, and you may contact the Developer at support@voicefinance.app.
25. Third-party Apple services
The app uses Apple services: the App Store, iCloud/CloudKit, Apple Speech and StoreKit. These are provided by Apple under its own terms and privacy policy. The Developer does not control their operation or availability.
26. App updates and changes to features
The app evolves: features may be added, changed or discontinued. The Developer aims not to degrade, without good reason, the advertised capabilities of a paid subscription during the paid period.
Updates are installed through the App Store according to your settings.
27. Service availability
The Developer does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. The app's operation may depend on the state of your device, the iOS version, Apple's services, network connectivity and external exchange-rate sources.
28. Device and iOS compatibility
The app is intended for iPhone devices running a supported version of iOS as stated in the App Store. Individual capabilities — in particular on-device speech recognition and iCloud sync — depend on the device model, language and system settings, and may not be available in every configuration.
29. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without express or implied warranties, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of speech recognition, or correctness of automated parsing.
This section does not exclude or limit any warranties or rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
30. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for indirect losses or lost profit, nor for losses arising from financial decisions taken on the basis of information from the app, nor for data loss occurring for the reasons described in section 20.
The Developer's liability for failure to perform, or improper performance of, its obligations applies to the extent established by applicable law.
These Terms do not exclude liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
31. Consumer rights
If you use the app as a consumer, you retain all mandatory rights granted to you by the consumer-protection law of your country of residence. These Terms apply only to the extent that they do not conflict with those mandatory rights.
32. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app; if you have a subscription, cancel it separately in your Apple account settings, since deleting the app does not by itself cancel the subscription.
The Developer may suspend or discontinue the Service in the event of a material breach of these Terms, or if support for the app ends, giving notice by available means and respecting the rights of users who have paid for a subscription.
33. Changes to the Terms
These Terms may be updated when the app's functionality or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page together with its effective date.
Changes do not apply retroactively. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated version; if you do not agree, please stop using the app.
34. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.
35. Dispute resolution
The parties will seek to resolve any disagreement through negotiation. Please write to support@voicefinance.app describing the situation; the Developer will consider it within a reasonable time.
If a dispute cannot be settled, it is resolved by a court in accordance with applicable law. These Terms do not deprive you of the right to bring proceedings in the forum available to you under consumer-protection law, and do not impose mandatory arbitration or any waiver of class actions.
36. Relationship to Apple's terms
The app is distributed through the App Store, so Apple's terms also apply to your use of it, including the App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
These Terms supplement Apple's terms and do not override or replace Apple's mandatory provisions. In the event of a conflict concerning distribution, payment, renewal, cancellation or refunds of the subscription, Apple's terms and policies prevail.
